Assisted stretching is a valuable practice for anyone looking to improve flexibility, reduce pain, and enhance overall physical function. Whether you’re an athlete, someone with a sedentary lifestyle, or recovering from an injury, assisted stretching offers a safe, customised, and effective way to support your health and well-being.
Your first session will begin with a Kinotek assessment in our ‘Functional Movement Lab’. Using cutting-edge motion analysis technology, this assessment provides precise insights into your range of motion, flexibility, and overall mobility. The results form the foundation of your personalised stretch and mobility plan, which your stretch therapist will review with you in detail before starting your targeted one-on-one assisted stretching session.
Once your session begins, your Stretch Therapist will take full control, allowing you to completely relax as they guide your body into each stretch. You’ll be encouraged to focus on your breathing—inhale deeply and exhale slowly—to help your muscles relax and maximise the effectiveness of the stretch. Throughout the session, your therapist will provide gentle cues to help you release tension and fully unwind.
